We may be a community hospital, but we’re a competitive bunch. We were the first hospital in Texas to achieve all three levels of Chest Pain Accreditation. We were the first Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery in Tarrant County. Our Rehab Center has been named one of the top 10 percent in the country. Our nurses just received a major award, Pathway to Excellence, because of their excellent work environment.

My Husband and I have received letters stating our AARP Secure Horizons Medicare Complete, Pacificcare, will not allow us to continue using our specialists in the North Hills Medical building or North Hills Hospital after Oct. 1, 2010. I didn’t want to change primary physicians, but I’d rather do that than change our specialists.
What do I need to do to keep most of what we have?
